PSC Construction is currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Skilled Laborer II - Underground Utility to join our team in Omaha, NE. Responsibilities :

  • Performing a variety of skilled duties in the construction and maintenance of underground utilities
  • Operating various tools and equipment to install, repair, and maintain underground utility systems
  • Assisting in the excavation, backfill, and compaction of trenches
  • Ensuring compliance with safety procedures and regulations at all times
  • Collaborating with team members to complete projects efficiently and on schedule
  • Maintaining a clean and organized work environment
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications :

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in underground utility construction
  • Ability to operate various hand and power tools
  • Experience with trenching, shoring, and backfilling
  • Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations related to underground utility work
  • Strong work ethic and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Reliable transportation to and from job sites
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy objects as needed
  • Excellent communication skills
