We are hiring an experienced Maintenance Technician (Multi-Craft) to join a global manufacturing leader in Gallatin. This role is hands-on and critical to keeping production running at peak performance. You will work across mechanical, electrical, and process control systems, supporting both routine maintenance and troubleshooting of advanced industrial equipment.

Key Responsibilities
Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain mechanical, electrical, and process control systems
Work with arc furnaces, conveyors (belt & vibrating), bucket elevators, rotary dryers, and hydrogen-atmosphere heat treat furnaces
Interpret blueprints, ladder logic, P&ID circuits, and work instructions
Inspect machinery for malfunctions including misalignment, wear, lubrication issues, and electrical faults
Execute safe and efficient repairs, adjustments, and installations to minimize downtime
Support preventative maintenance and safe operation of all production equipment
Communicate repair status across shifts to ensure smooth handoffs
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
Minimum Requirements
High school diploma or GED required
Associate degree in Industrial Maintenance or Journeyman-level certification preferred
2–5 years of industrial maintenance experience
Multi-craft competency : strong in one craft (Electrical or Mechanical) with demonstrated ability in 2–4 modules of the other craft
Proficiency in troubleshooting up to 480V electrical systems
Ability to operate forklifts, cranes, and mobile equipment (training provided)
Comfortable working in a heavy industrial environment : hot in summer, cold in winter, exposure to dust and manual labor
Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and flexible schedules
Reliable attendance — facility uses a points-based attendance system for consistency
