Title : Pump Mechanic

Pay : $20-23

Hours : Monday – Friday, 8 : 00 AM – 5 : 00 PM

Location : Bossier City, LA

Job Type : Full-Time

#SHLA Job Summary :

We are seeking an experienced Pump Mechanic to join our team in Bossier City. This role involves inspecting, repairing, and maintaining industrial pumps to ensure optimal performance and reliability.

Key Responsibilities :

Diagnose and troubleshoot pump issues, including mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical components

Disassemble, repair, and reassemble pumps and related equipment

Perform preventive maintenance to minimize downtime

Replace worn or damaged parts, seals, and bearings

Use precision tools and equipment to ensure proper alignment and functionality

Maintain accurate maintenance and repair records

Follow safety procedures and company policies at all times

Assist with shop organization and other mechanical tasks as needed

Requirements :

Proven experience as a pump mechanic or in a similar mechanical repair role

Strong knowledge of industrial pump systems and components

Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams

Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments

Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various conditions

Reliable transportation and strong work ethic
