Accountant

The Accountant will support the accounting group with daily corporate accounting tasks and month-end close functions.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and post journal entries as part of the monthly accounting close.
• Manage daily cash transactions and reconcile them with the corresponding bank statement.
• Prepare month-end balance sheet account reconciliations in accordance with corporate policy and procedure.
• Research reconciling items as required.
• Participate in the preparation of financial footnotes and other financial reports.
• Assist with projects, compliance, and other accounting functions as needed.
• Perform related duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Work Environment

This role reports to the VP of Accounting and the Director of Accounting within a team of over 30 in the Servicing Accounting team. The position is onsite four days a week, Monday through Thursday, in Fort Washington, PA. The workplace is a newly renovated, state-of-the-art HQ facility.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hatboro, Pennsylvania.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $27.50 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
