About The Position
Ohio Neurosurgery - Flexible Call Coverage
Highlights
- Flexible call schedule : only one week per month.
- Travel and lodging provided for your assignment.
- Work in a Level 1 Trauma Center.
Practice Setting
Hospital-based practice.Adult and geriatric patient demographic, including emergent cases from the ED.Collaborate with an experienced neurosurgery team.Schedule
24-hour call coverage for approximately one week per month.Immediate need for late August into early September coverage.Shifts are typically 8-12 hours in length with 1-2 emergent surgical cases per day.Procedures and Cases
Neurosurgery Cases : Adult, Trauma, Brain Bleed Stoppage, Clot Removal, Tumor Removal, Trauma Repair, Shunt Insertion or Revision (with neuro IR in-house).Spine Surgery Procedures : Spine Stabilization and Reconstruction, Vertebroplasty and Kyphoplasty, Spinal Fusion, Laminectomy, Diskectomy.Requirements
Board Certification in Neurosurgery is required.Must hold an active Ohio medical license.BLS and ACLS certifications are necessary.Credentialing Requirements
