What you’ll do
- Fill prescriptions accurately and on time under pharmacist supervision and per SOPs and state law.
- Keep patient profiles current; route clinical questions to a pharmacist.
- Communicate professionally with patients and prescribers while following HIPAA and state rules.
- Follow regulatory standards (FL Board of Pharmacy, FDA, Medicare / DME, ACHC, OSHA).
- Hit turnaround goals while delivering quality service to patients and internal partners.
- Research and resolve aging orders to ensure timely fulfillment.
- Support inventory (check stock, anticipate needs, place / expedite orders, verify receipts, remove outdated meds).
- Accurately enter and process prescriptions as permitted by FL law.
- Maintain a safe, clean, audit-ready pharmacy.
