American Traveler is seeking an Interventional Radiology Technologist for a 13-week day shift assignment requiring ARRT, BLS, ACLS, and CCI RCIS certifications with experience in a variety of interventional and special procedures.
\n \n Responsibilities\n
Work in an interventional radiology department within a hospital settingPatient population includes pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatricsPerforms specialized procedures including angioplasty, embolization, stent placement, liver biopsy, nephrostomy, and moreShift consists of 4x10 hour day shifts from 9 : 00 AM to 7 : 30 PMCall is required 1-2 days per week and one weekend per monthBlock scheduling pattern with every third weekend coverageCandidates will float within the hospital based on census needsElectronic documentation is required; medication system utilizes OmnicellScrubs are providedResponsibilities include performing a wide range of radiology and special procedures such as adrenal angiography, ERCP, IVC filter placement / removal, paracentesis, thoracentesis, vascular closure systems, and endovascular interventionsPosition involves collaborating with a multidisciplinary team and supporting hospital-wide care needs through floatingFirst-time travelers may be accepted if their experience meets requirementsAll required modules must be completed as part of orientationHoliday and weekend coverage required as scheduledLocals are accepted at a lower bill rateAll requests for time off must be declared before assignment confirmation and must not exceed 5 days\n \n Requirements\n
Active ARRT R, BLS, ACLS, and CCI RCIS certifications requiredMinimum of 2 years experience in interventional radiology and travel experience requiredCA state license in hand is requiredAbility to interpret dysrhythmias and perform laser assisted and advanced interventional proceduresProficiency in circulating, scrubbing, maintaining sterile field, and equipment / room setupNo previous permanent staff from the same facility are eligibleMust provide at least one recent professional reference from the past 2 yearsModules and Epic training completed pre-start and during orientationLicense required if applicable\n Benefits\n
