Overview
HealthDrive is currently seeking a Nurse Practitioner (NP / APRN) to work Part-Time or Full-Time (2-5 days / week) covering nursing facilities across the North Shore, MA area (Work locations in Beverly, Lowell, Amesbury, and Haverhill )

Responsibilities
The Nurse Practitioner will provide psychiatric med-management services to the residents of nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and long-term care facilities within an assigned territory.
Essential Functions :
Monitor psychiatric medications for effectiveness, response of resident, and side effectsInform residents of potential side effects of psychiatric medicationsRecommend the initiation of any psychiatric medication deemed appropriateComplete AIMS testing every three months on residents receiving antipsychotic medicationMonitor tapering of psychiatric medications according to federal regulationsRecommend behavioral interventions to nursing staffDevelop behavior plans as neededPerform other duties as assignedMobile model treatment of patients requires daily travel to skilled nursing facilitiesQualifications
Master’s Degree from an accredited college / universityState Professional Nurse Practitioner licenseBoard Certification requiredValid driver’s licenseAbility to work independently on a daily basisExcellent written, verbal, interpersonal and organizational skillsAbility to use email, the internet, and to learn other healthcare related software
