Major, Lindsey & Africa’s Interim Legal Talent group has aneed for a Part-Time Interim Corporate Contracts Attorney. Role is an interim position for 9-12+ months with possible extensions.

Overview : We are seeking an experienced, part-time, Corporate / Commercial Contracts attorney to work with our law firm client. This role is critical to help support the corporate M&A practice group. The ideal candidate will be sharp, experienced, flexible in hours, and willing to work in a collaborative setting with senior leadership and executives within the firm and with clients.

Experience (Required)

  • Licensed to practice law in Illinois
  • 8+ years’ experience in corporate and commercial contracts law
  • Willing to come into the Chicago office on a hybrid basis (flexibility re days)
  • Experience working with large corporate clients

  • Sharp and personable
  • Ability to work with senior leadership, partners, and executives
  • Ability to work in a collaborative environment

    • Location : Hybrid basis with some days needed in the Chicago office. There is flexibility regarding which and how many days in the office each week / month.

    Responsibilities

  • Provide expertise and legal counsel on corporate and commercial contract law.
  • Collaborate with corporate and executive compensation legal practice groups.
  • Engage with senior leadership, partners, executives and clients.

    • Qualifications

  • Ability to work 10-30 hours / week on a flexible basis. There could be 10 hours of work one week, and then 30 the following week. Flexibility is needed for this role.
  • Graduated from an accredited law school

    • Pay rate : $100
