MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR

Job Title

Supervise, lead, and manage Locators, Meter Readers, Construction crews, Traffic and Metering crews, as well as the maintenance and installation of related facilities. Organize and schedule work according to the number of locates and routes on billing and lighting tickets among work crews. Schedule appointments as needed with electrical contractors, commercial office, city electrical inspectors, electric engineering, traffic engineering and members of the public. Improvements to enhance safety, efficiency, and reliability. Provide direction in emergency situations. Ensures a lack of disruption in all previously scheduled work. Meet electrical contractors and engineers in the field and spot audits crews work. Recommend or advise customers in service installation according to the Rules and Specifications Handbook as well as providing consistency with past practice. Supervise crews in other departments as needed when the acting Supervisor is absent.
