About The Position

License : Must have an active nursing license

Certifications : BLS required

Must-Have : Level 1 Trauma experience

Strong scrub and circulate skills

Experience in Ortho, Ortho Trauma, Vascular, Urology, and General Surgery.

Description :

The position is for a Registered Nurse in the Operating Room.

The shift consists of four 10-hour days, from 10 : 00 AM to 8 : 30 PM.

There is a call requirement of one 12-hour shift a month on a Saturday or Sunday.

The call shifts can either be from 7 : 00 AM to 7 : 00 PM or from 7 : 00 PM to 7 : 00 AM.

Weekday call is not required.

There is a weekend requirement of every other weekend.

Staff will be expected to float within the facility as needed.

This facility is a mandatory float facility, requiring all resources to float at facility discretion.

Five days of request time off is permitted, with no more than two consecutive days off.

No time off is allowed on holidays or on the days prior or after holidays.

No requests for time off on weekends will be accepted.

The Registered Nurse must have strong skills in scrubbing and circulating.

Preferred experience includes neurosurgery, open heart / thoracic, ophthalmology, ENT, bariatric, and gynecology.

Candidates must be responsive throughout the hiring process.

Timely compliance with document submission is crucial to ensure assignment continuation.

The clinician may receive notifications to float to different units, potentially outside their primary competency.

If floating is declined, it may result in contract cancellation.
