Our team is known for providing high-quality legal representation to insurance carriers, third-party administrators, and self-insured employers throughout the state. Position Overview :

Our client is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Workers' Compensation Defense Attorney to join their growing team. The ideal candidate will have experience managing a caseload from inception through resolution, strong litigation skills, and a passion for client advocacy.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Represent clients in workers' compensation defense cases before the South Carolina Workers' Compensation Commission.
  • Manage a caseload with autonomy, including conducting depositions, hearings, and mediations.
  • Draft legal documents such as pleadings, discovery responses, motions, and settlement agreements.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, medical providers, and experts.
  • Provide strategic legal counsel and updates to clients regarding case progress and outcomes.

Qualifications :

  • J.D. from an accredited law school.
  • Active license to practice law in South Carolina.
  • 0-3 years of experience in workers' compensation law preferred.
  • Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Self-starter with strong organizational and time management skills.
