Lead Solution Architect Responsibilities

  • Leverage a client-centric approach to understand client challenges and opportunities, delivering solutions and services that achieve transformative change and high value business outcomes.
  • Engage in solutioning and support on the most strategic opportunities, intervening in high-risk complex deliveries and contributing to shape the strategic direction using data platforms, reporting, self-service analytics, real-time intelligence and AI engineering.
  • Apply modern data platforms, visualizations, advanced analytics, machine learning, IoT / Digital Twins and applied intelligence to gain business insights, optimize operations, drive innovation and enable empowered decisions.
  • Architect, design and deliver large-scale Data Platform solutions using approaches such as Lakehouse, Data Mesh, Fabric, Cloud Scale Analytics, identifying key architectural characteristics of performance, security and reliability.
  • Lead the development of data and analytics platforms, real-time intelligence and reporting solutions using Python, SQL, Microsoft Azure Data Services, Fabric and Databricks.
  • Drive measurable and sustained growth across the Data & AI Solution Area, integrating Data & AI into other Global Solution Areas.
  • Translate complex technical concepts into fit-for-audience language and value-based outcomes, presenting to senior business stakeholders, technology leaders and internal sales teams.
  • Co-create and coach, motivate and inspire junior colleagues from within the team and across the organization.

Lead Solution Architect Qualifications

  • Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Azure and Databricks.
  • Experience in Data, Applied Intelligence, Automation, IoT and related technologies.
  • Ability to work within the Microsoft and partner ecosystem to ensure customer success.
  • High energy intent to help clients understand the fast-moving AI industry, product and service evolution.
  • Experience working with stakeholders to create technical visions, high-level architectures and delivery roadmaps for large programs of work that involve the latest AI concepts, particularly focused on scaling AI across enterprises.
  • Deep understanding of responsible data platform and migration principles, practices and regulatory frameworks, articulating risks while delivering impactful solutions.
  • Capability in creating design artifacts and presenting them for approval at architectural forums attended by multi-disciplined stakeholders from engineering to senior client executives.
  • In-depth understanding of modern Data & AI capabilities such as structured and unstructured data analysis, streaming data, IoT, AI, GenAI and related topical analytics fields.
  • Advanced degree in a quantitative field such as computer science, applied mathematics, statistics or machine learning, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proven success in consultative / complex technical sales and deployment projects, architecture, design, implementation and / or support of highly distributed applications for large complex enterprise accounts.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, ability to orchestrate, lead and influence remote teams and ensure successful implementation of customer projects.
