job_description.job_card.job_descriptionSets up jigs, reads and interprets shop drawings necessary for such work. Moves parts into position. Aligns parts. Tack welds or clamps parts into position ready for moving along conveyor to final welding area. Perform other job-related duties as assigned by supervisor including, but not limited to, cleaning, metal scrap removal and other joist assembly-related activities.
We are looking for self-motivated and safety-conscious candidates who would like to join our production team in our Buckeye, AZ location!
New employees can earn 60K in total compensation when working at Canam Steel Corp for a 40-50 hour work week. This includes the base rate, shift differential, overtime, retention and production bonuses.
There are additional ways to earn including referral bonuses and mentoring incentives.
Position is full-time with benefits!
2nd Shift
8 hour schedule : Monday-Friday 2 : 00pm-10 : 30pm
9 hour shift schedule :
Monday - Thursday Night shift - 3pm - 12 : 30pm
Friday Night shift - 2pm to 10 : 30pm
Mandatory alternating Saturdays Night shift - 2pm to 10 : 30pm
- Most be able to work all shift schedules
Assembles steel joist components ready for final welding; performs such work consistent with corporate mission, values and department's financial objectives.
