Job Description Summary : Assistant Teaching Professor position to teach undergraduate economics, advise students, and to provide service to students and the institution.
Job Description : The Economics Department at Miami University is housed in the Farmer School of Business and offers majors in both the Farmer School of Business and the College of Arts and Science. Start date of the position is August 2026.
Minimum Qualifications :
Required : PhD in Economics or related field by date of appointment.
Consideration may be given to candidates with a commitment to excellence in teaching high quality courses in Principles of Macroeconomics and other courses as needed; commitment to excellence in teaching large sections; commitment to pedagogic innovation; or demonstrated enthusiasm for undertaking student-centered service responsibilities such as academic and extracurricular advising.
