• Ability to manage high-risk Antepartum patients
• Labor experience
• Experience managing COVID patients in Labor, C-Section, Antepartum, and OBED

Description :

This position involves working in a Labor and Delivery unit.

The unit consists of 19 labor beds, 5 OBED beds, 3 PACU beds, 3 surgical beds, and 8 Antepartum beds.

There are 55 staff members on the unit.

The day shift includes 1 charge nurse, 2 OBED nurses, 3 OR nurses, 2-3 Antepartum nurses, and 10 labor nurses.

The night shift consists of 1 charge nurse, 2 OBED nurses, 2-3 Antepartum nurses, and 10 labor nurses.

Patient ratios are 2 : 1 for labor, 3 : 1 for OBED, 4 : 1 for Antepartum, and 1 : 1 for OR.

The equipment utilized includes EMR software CPN and Meditech.

Candidates must demonstrate strong teamwork and the ability to adapt to fast-paced environments.

Typical procedures performed on the unit include C-Sections, cerclage, and BTLD & C for PPH.

Two mandatory weekend shifts are required each month.
