Job Description
Globally renowned Landscape, Planning & Urban Design firm is seeking a highly motivated and experienced BIM Manager to lead the development, implementation, and management processes across our Houston studio.
This role is pivotal in advancing digital design workflows, enhancing project delivery, and supporting interdisciplinary collaboration within a creative and design-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities :
BIM Strategy & Leadership
- Develop and maintain BIM standards, protocols, and workflows tailored to landscape architecture and urban design.
- Champion BIM adoption across teams and projects, ensuring alignment with industry best practices.
- Collaborate with leadership to integrate BIM into strategic planning and project execution.
Project Support & Coordination
Provide hands-on BIM support for project teams, including model setup, coordination, and troubleshooting.Facilitate interdisciplinary collaboration with architects, engineers, and consultants using BIM platforms.Ensure model accuracy, data integrity, and compliance with project requirements.Training & Development
Lead internal training sessions to upskill staff in BIM tools and workflows.Create and maintain documentation, tutorials, and resources for ongoing learning.Mentor team members and foster a culture of digital innovation. Technology & InnovationEvaluate emerging technologies and software relevant to BIM and digital design.Collaborate with IT and design technology teams to implement new tools and upgrades.Support integration of BIM with GIS, parametric design, and visualization platforms.Qualifications : Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture, Architecture, or related field.Minimum 5 years of experience in BIM management or coordination roles.Proficiency in Autodesk Revit, Civil 3D, Navisworks, and other BIM-related tools.Experience with landscape-specific BIM workflows and site modeling.Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.Preferred Skills : Knowledge of Rhino, Grasshopper, Dynamo, and GIS platforms.Experience in urban design, infrastructure, or large-scale landscape projects.Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.Why Join Us?
