Qualifications :
Education : ADN / BSN from an accredited programLicensure : Active, unrestricted NY RN license.Certification : Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required (must be current or eligible for immediate renewal)Experience :Minimum of 1.5 years of recent experience (within the past 2 years) in an acute care facility of similar size and acuity level as the hiring hospitalMust have experience in Med Surg / Tele unit.Experience with high patient volume and multidisciplinary teams is strongly preferredTravel nurses must have experience in Level 1 or Level 2 trauma centers or hospitals of equal or greater sizeTechnical Skills :Must be Proficient in starting IVsMust be able to draw labs independentlyMust be skilled in monitoring and interpreting telemetry (tele)Must have the ability to quickly assess and respond to changing patient conditionsSoft Skills :Rapid clinical assessmentCrisis managementMultidisciplinary collaborationMust have strong documentation and communication skillsKey Responsibilities :
Monitor / interpret cardiac telemetryPerform IV starts and lab drawsRespond to rapid changes in patient conditionDocument care in compliance with standardsManage high-volume caseloadsCoordinate with multidisciplinary teamsHow
