2nd Shift Tool Technician

2nd Shift Tool Technician needs 2 years experience in CNC / machining background a plus Blueprint reading a plus Drill Press Sawing.

2nd Shift Tool Technician requires :

o Blueprint reading a plus.

o Drill Press.

o Sawing

o ISO9001 / IATF16949 / ISO14001 Awareness

2nd Shift Tool Technician duties :

o Operate Makino Milling Machines and other tool room equipment as trained, (i.e. Wheelabrator, manual mill and grinders) Tooling preparations i.e. breakdown, cleaning and building of tooling to be machined.

o Measure step heights on punches and log data into the tool room step list.

o Maintain punch cut records, compacting tool sign-out sheets and dispense to oven sheets.

o Receive tooling in from vendors; perform inspection of product related tooling as needed.

o Basic operation of computer used to transfer programs to the Makino mills.

o Safety, work in a safe manner.

o Assist with tooling inventory as needed.

o Assure production readiness of Tool and Die.
