Construction Manager - Heavy Civil (Eagle Lake)

Metric Geo are partnered with a large GC who are looking for an experienced Construction Manager to oversee large-scale, complex civil construction projects in the Eagle Lake area. This role combines hands-on field leadership with strategic project oversight, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget. The ideal candidate has a strong technical background, proven leadership experience, and proficiency in modern construction management tools and software.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise construction projects of increasing complexity, ensuring timely and quality completion.
• Manage projects as a general contractor, following cost control, accounting, and reporting procedures using integrated systems and software.
• Prepare and deliver accurate project reports in compliance with operational and accounting requirements.
• Administer contracts, including negotiating terms, ensuring compliance, and documenting amendments throughout project execution.
• Manage variation orders, cost changes, and value engineering evaluations.
• Develop and maintain project work breakdown structures (WBS) and cost breakdown structures (CBS).
