About The Position

Job Title : Registered Nurse

Profession : Nursing

Hours per Shift : 12 hours

Experience : Minimum of 1 year required

License : Valid NY license required in hand to submit

Certifications : ACLS, BLS

Must-Have :

• Previous charge experience of at least 1 year
• Experience with patient ratio management
• Charting experience in EPIC required
• Candidates will float as needed

Description :

Responsibilities include providing care in a telemetry unit.

The nurse will monitor patients with cardiac conditions.

Skills required include blood product administration and management of dysrhythmias.

Knowledge of isolation precautions is necessary.

Experience with non-invasive airway management and oxygen administration is needed.

The role involves peripheral line care and management.

Wound care experience, including use of wound vacs, is required.

Interdisciplinary support is part of the unit structure.

Candidates are expected to respond to emergencies and utilize rapid response teams.

This position does not require a COVID-19 vaccine.

Flu vaccine status is unknown.
