Senior Acquisition Sme
Join a dynamic federal program team supporting the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and Customs and Border Protection (CBP). As a Senior Acquisition SME, you will lead and coordinate acquisition activities, ensuring compliance with federal regulations and supporting mission-critical projects from planning through execution.
Key Responsibilities :
- Serve as a senior member of a program team, reporting to the contract support manager.
- Provide direct support to Contracting Officer Representatives (CORs) assigned to program contracts.
- Lead obligation of program funds and oversee procurement package generation and submission.
- Develop and submit S1 Memo packages.
- Lead and coordinate evaluation of bids / proposals, contract awards, and closeouts.
- Submit and track program communication circuit requirements through installation.
- Lead execution of selected projects as identified by the program manager.
- Collaborate with outside agency project leaders to synchronize work with program goals and objectives.
- Prepare, track, and maintain status of all program acquisition efforts.
- Develop and analyze recommendations on program acquisition matters.
- Support development of annual program acquisition goals and objectives.
- Support program spend plan development, execution, and tracking.
- Support documentation development for acquisition planning and project management from mission analysis and requirements generation through design, development, production, and deployment.
Required Qualifications :
BS or BA degree with 15 years' Government Acquisition experience, or MS degree with 10 years' Government Acquisition experience.Demonstrated experience with DHS / CBP budgeting and acquisition process.Active Department of Homeland Security (DHS) or Customs and Border Protection Public Trust clearance (CBPI).Excellent written and oral communications skills, including development and presentation of briefings to senior government personnel.Self-starter capable of supporting senior government personnel independently, with minimal supervision.Compensation & Benefits :
