Patient Service Representative (Start Between 5 : 30am And 9 : 30am)

• About the Role

Join a fast-paced, high-impact team in the ER where you'll be the first point of contact for patients in critical need. As a Registration Clerk, you'll play a vital role in patient intake, insurance verification, and supporting emergency medical staff.

• What You'll Do

Greet and register patients in the Outpatient area

Collect and verify insurance and personal information

Navigate different registration workflows (e.g., uninsured, out-of-state)

Collaborate with nurses, physicians, EMTs, and firefighters

Push mobile computer stations and remain on your feet for extended periods

Maintain professionalism and empathy in high-stress situations

Training & Support

12-day onboarding : 1 day classroom + 11 days hands-on shadowing

Access to job aids and SharePoint resources

Ongoing performance feedback and knowledge checks

What We're Looking For

Strong customer service skills and punctuality

Compassionate, team-oriented, and eager to learn

Comfortable in a trauma center environment (blood, critical cases, 5150 patients)

Ability to multitask in a chaotic, fast-moving ER setting

Weekends and holiday are REQUIRED. (weekends usually rotate based on business needs)

Orange, CA

FT Outpatient clinic 5 : 30am to 9 : 30am start time M-Sat 8 hour Shifts (only occasional Saturdays)

• Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $24.00 / hr.
