Warehouse Support Team Member

Variable shifts :

Monday : 9 : 00 AM-5 : 00 PM

Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday : 11 : 00 AM-7 : 00PM

Friday :   Schedule varies based on production needs

The Role :

As a Warehouse Associate, you will contribute to CAVA’s success, receiving and off-loading truckloads of incoming raw materials and finished goods; maintaining an organized warehouse; picking, packing and shipping sales and transfer orders.

What You will Do :

Receive incoming deliveries and properly warehouse raw materials and finished goods.

Maintain organization and cleanliness of docks, dry warehouse and cold storage rooms.

Safely operate material handling equipment, including forklifts, reach trucks and pallet jacks, maintaining required safety training and certifications.

Conduct minor preventative maintenance activities on dock and material handling equipment.

Using generated work orders, select raw materials from warehouse locations and deliver to processing floor. Properly scan barcodes and maintain documentation as required.

Pick, pack and palletize outgoing orders and load outbound trucks, ensuring proper documentation

Abide by policies and procedures that support the service mindset

Manage timeline expectations within and across teams, deliver on our responsibilities accordingly

Earn the trust of Team Members and Managers by consistently embracing CAVA’s values

Show discipline in bringing consistent performance, communication, and attitude to the job every day

Actively contribute to your department in order to complete tasks and meet company goals

Recognize the emotional stake each Team Member has in personal and organizational success of this business

The Qualifications :

2+ years experience working in a warehouse environment

2+ years experience operating material handling equipment, including forklifts

Food manufacturing / warehousing experience preferred.

Ability to converse with team members in both English and Spanish preferred

Physical Requirements :

Physical dexterity, ability to lift, up to 60 lbs. and push / pull pump jacks with up to 2,500 lbs. Weight on.

The ability to work in varied environmental conditions (dry, cold)

The ability to stand and work on feet for 8 to 10 hours a day

Must be able to identify, assess and observe detail

Ability to communicate with others and exchange information accurately and effectively.

Ability to squat, kneel, bend and twist

Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner

Allergens : We prepare products with milk and sesame containing ingredients. Team members must be able to work with these ingredients.
