Overview

Employer Industry : Nuclear Power Engineering

We are seeking a skilled engineering professional to lead I&C design initiatives in a nuclear environment, focused on delivering technically sound controls projects with strong project management and client collaboration.

What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)

  • Lead and support small and large controls projects focused on technical execution and effective project management
  • Develop digital systems design, including PLC, DCS, HSI, and networked computer systems
  • Prepare control system functional requirements and procurement specifications for nuclear plant control systems
  • Interface with clients and vendors to ensure project execution and equipment compliance
  • Prepare and review technical reports, calculations, and drawings to meet client requirements

What is Required (Qualifications)

  • BS or MS in Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical, or Nuclear Engineering from an ABET accredited program
  • 10 or more years of experience in I&C Design Engineering, with at least 5 years at a nuclear facility
  • Ability to clearly communicate in both spoken and written formats
  • Technically knowledgeable about available equipment and pre-engineered systems for executing systems design
  • Experience reviewing design documentation and serving as a client liaison in an engineering role
  • How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

  • PE license is preferred
  • Experience in managing resources and developing estimates for task completion and budget development
  • Familiarity with vendor evaluation from a technical perspective
