A company is looking for an In Vivo Bench Scientist in Cambridge, MA.
Key Responsibilities
Provide in vivo pharmacology expertise in models of neurodegenerative and neuroinflammatory diseases
Conduct and support mechanistic in vivo, in vitro, and ex vivo studies
Analyze data and present findings to project teams while maintaining a high level of autonomy
Required Qualifications
Recent PhD, or Master's Degree with 2+ years of experience, or Bachelor's degree with 4+ years of experience in the in vivo neuroinflammation and / or neurodegeneration scientific space
Working knowledge of biopharmaceutical research and drug discovery
Hands-on experience with immunohistology, transcriptomic and proteomic methods, and cell culture techniques
In vivo expertise including mouse brain delivery techniques and rodent brain dissection
Decision- and action-oriented with a high level of autonomy
