Accounts Receivable Specialist

Accounts Receivable Specialist Overview : We’re anticipating an upcoming need for an Accounts Receivable Specialist on behalf of one of our valued clients. This position will play a key role in supporting their accounting team by managing customer accounts, ensuring timely collections, and maintaining accurate financial records. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Responsibilities : Process customer invoices and credit memos accurately and efficiently Monitor customer accounts for overdue balances and follow up to ensure timely collection Apply and reconcile payments / cash to customer accounts Maintain accurate and organized records of all receivable transactions Communicate with customers and internal departments to resolve billing or payment discrepancies Prepare and review aging reports; assist with month-end close processes Support accounting leadership with reporting, audits, and special projects as needed Qualifications : Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred 2+ years of experience in Accounts Receivable or general accounting Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with accounting software (SAP, JD Edwards, Oracle, or QuickBooks preferred) Excellent communication and customer service abilities Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines System One, and its subsidiaries including Joulé, ALTA IT Services, and Mountain Ltd., are leaders in delivering outsourced services and workforce solutions across North America.
