Overview

Traveling Field Service Technician (6am to 2pm) – 5328

Base pay range : $22.00 / hr

This role supports Daniels Health in providing critical medical waste services to hospitals across Illinois. This is not a desk job—you'll be on your feet, moving, lifting, and making a real impact every day. You must be willing to work in multiple locations across the Youngstown, OH area.

Responsibilities

  • Willingness to travel in a personal vehicle
  • Work directly with hospital staff to ensure safe and timely medical waste container exchanges and proper segregation
  • Inspecting and servicing Daniels Health containers in clinical areas, including entering procedural spaces and working around sensitive equipment and patients
  • Lifting containers (up to 50 lbs) and pushing / pulling carts (up to 300 lbs) throughout the day
  • Maintain inventory of containers and ensure areas are stocked and organized
  • Use a company-provided smartphone to manage tasks, report issues, and communicate with your team
  • Keep staging areas clean and orderly before and after service
  • Represent Daniels Health with professionalism, positivity, and a strong work ethic

What we're looking for

  • Physically fit and comfortable with heavy lifting; enjoys active, on-the-go work
  • Team player who can also work independently without direct supervision
  • Strong attention to detail, especially with paperwork and procedures
  • Reliable transportation and willingness to travel throughout Illinois
  • Can-do attitude and previous experience in a labor-intensive or logistics role
  • Willingness to be COVID-19 vaccinated due to hospital access
