Imaging Institute - Breast Radiologist - Pittsburgh, West Penn Hospital

Allegheny Health Network (AHN)  is building for the future in their Imaging Institute by adding several services and locations to their network. We are recruiting full-time and part-time  Breast Radiologists  to join our team located in  Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania .

Job Highlights :

• 100% Breast Imaging position.  Hybrid position with another subspecialty will be considered upon request.
• No weekend, holiday, evening or pager call requirement .
• AHN facilities are equipped with state-of-the-art equipment, a user-friendly PACS system, and an expansive in-house IT department available to help 24 / 7.
• Robust abbreviated MRI program.
• Multidisciplinary tumor board is scheduled weekly fostering strong collaboration with AHN Breast Surgeons and Oncologists.
• Most biopsies at AHN are performed using HydroMARK clips and most localizations are performed using Magseeds.
• Full time employees are usually given 1-3 remote screening MG / MRI shifts per month depending on vacation requests.  These shifts are taken in the comfort of your home.
• Opportunities with AHN Breast Imaging Fellowship and Radiology Residency Programs as well as rotating medical students.
• Career advancement and academic appointments at Drexel University are available to qualified and interested candidates.
• Working at multiple breast centers throughout Pittsburgh breaks up the day-to-day monotony, however, regional scheduling bias makes daily commutes more than reasonable.
