Loader Operator- Night Shift
In this role you will support positive safety culture in an aggregate environment that is regulated by MSHA safety standards. As a Loader Operator- Night Shift you will play a critical role in daily Asphalt operations by safely operating heavy equipmentprimarily loadersas well as performing routine and preventative plant maintenance to ensure continuous, efficient production.
Day to Day
- Actively promote safety awareness and continuous improvement through positive recognition
- Operate asphalt equipment
- Perform daily maintenance on the plant.
- Comply with all industry safety rules, procedures and applicable government regulations.
- Perform daily pre-shift equipment and workplace inspections to maintain equipment performance
- Maintain strong communications with other plant employees and operators
- Perform other duties or responsibilities as assigned
About You
3-5 Years experience preferredExperience with Loader SIZE 980.Current MSHA Training a plus but not required.Prompt, regular, and predictable attendancePositive, team-based attitudeThe ability to stand, stoop, bend, lift, walk, climb stairs, ladders and catwalks up to 60 feet as required.Ability to lift 25-50 lbs. on occasion.The ability to work in varied outdoor environments (cold, hot, dry, dusty, rainy)Ability to Operate Heavy Equipment SafelyUnderstand and carry out oral & written instructionsAbility to keep accurate daily record.Knowledge of plant maintenance and construction materialsGood Mental concentration and judgementAbility to work independently with minimal supervisionWorking Conditions and Physical Environment
While most equipment has air conditioning, there will be times when other responsibilities may require periods of work in all weather conditions including heat, cold, wet, dry, and dusty.
