Genie Healthcare is seeking a local contract nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a local contract nursing job in Prince Frederick, Maryland.

Job Description & Requirements

Shift : 12 hours, nights
Employment Type : Local Contract

Shift : Nights 7P-7A

Ratios : 1 : 3-4 to 1

Certs : NRP, EFM

3-4 Years of experince needed .

Patient Age Groups :

Neonates, Adolescents, Infants, Adults

Daily Census :

Postpartum - 4 couplets, L&D - 650 deliveries / yr

Patient Diagnoses :

Level 1 nursery. Fairly healthy moms. Do care for NAS babies. HIgh risk moms usually deliver elsewhere. 5 birthing rooms, 1 c-section or, 12 postpartum rooms ( babies room in ) Do have a small nursery for critical babies. Follow Baby Friendly guidelines. Some weekend alternative staff, but weekends are still required.
