Overview

Location : Columbia, PA (Hybrid : Online & In-Person)

Position Type : Part-Time / Full-Time

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement public relations strategies to increase awareness and engagement.
  • Manage online communications, including social media accounts, newsletters, and press releases.
  • Cultivate relationships with local media, community leaders, and partner organizations.
  • Plan, promote, and support in-person and virtual events.
  • Monitor and analyze communications efforts to improve outreach and engagement.
  • Ensure all messaging aligns with Big E Nonprofit’s mission and values.

Qualifications

  • Strong communication and writing skills.
  • Experience with social media management, marketing, or public relations.
  • Ability to work flexibly both online and on-site in Columbia, PA.
  • Creative thinker with organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Passion for nonprofit work and community engagement.
