This role is part of Blue Origin Operations, which is comprised of Integrated Supply Chain, Test Operations, Safety, Quality, and Mission Assurance. This includes Manufacturing and Supply Chain support across all Blue Origin facilities. We are looking for someone to apply their technical expertise, leadership skills, and commitment to quality to positively impact safe human spaceflight. Responsibilities Include :

• Develops the production schedule and manufacturing plan based on program schedule, customer ask date, labor, and machine resource availability, and expected make / buy part availability lead time.
• Manages production schedules for multiple programs. Provides Production Control detailed information to ensure scheduled completion dates align with actual work center capacities, capabilities, and historical performance.
• Evaluates product scope and creates tactical schedules using scheduling systems (MS Project & Primavera P6). Controls the scope of work released to Production Control for management and execution.
• When schedule recovery is necessary, identifies and analyzes solutions and bottlenecks, including forward and reverse scheduling methods.
• Works closely with production team to determine the needs and constraints of the manufacturing shop floor, technicians and schedules work accordingly.
• Coordinates interdepartmental activity with Program Management, Quality Assurance, Manufacturing, Purchasing, and Engineering to ensure production and customer specifications are accurate and production schedules are timely.
• Monitors status and provides regular updates to management on upcoming production priorities.
• Updates visual management boards with current job / program status.
• Performs schedule and scope variance analysis and reviews MRP execution.
• Works on problems of various scope where analysis of data requires evaluation and judgement.
• Mentors and assists other planners.
