Job Description
The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania is seeking a skilled Enterprise Architect to lead modernization, integration, and cloud transformation initiatives across enterprise systems. The role will focus on modernizing legacy systems , designing secure Azure-based solutions , and ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture standards and business objectives .
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, publish, and maintain enterprise reference architectures and standards .
- Lead modernization planning and transition of legacy systems to cloud-native or hybrid architectures.
- Architect integrations with Salesforce, Appian, and Microsoft Azure platforms.
- Design secure, scalable cloud solutions compliant with state and federal security frameworks.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to align IT architecture with business and citizen service goals .
- Define and promote data interoperability and architecture governance .
- Provide technical guidance and solution oversight for development teams.
- Research and recommend emerging technologies to enhance service delivery and efficiency.
Required Qualifications
Bachelors Degree in IT and 6+ years of professional IT experience OR 10+ years of relevant IT experience.Proven expertise in :Application development and modernization
Enterprise architecture & technology standardsAPI design & secure integrationsCloud architecture (preferably Azure)Technology roadmaps & business alignmentTranslating technical concepts for diverse stakeholdersPreferred Qualifications
Certifications : TOGAF 9.x , Azure Solutions Architect Expert , Salesforce Certified Application ArchitectExperience in state or federal government projectsFamiliarity with low-code platforms (Appian) , Salesforce , or geospatial / regulatory systemsPrimary Skills
