Job Overview & Responsibilities

As a Material Requirements Planning (MRP) Specialist Intern at United Launch Alliance you'll gain hands-on experience and will have the opportunity to learn :

• Planning, scheduling, and monitoring the efficient movement of material from identification of the requirement to delivery to the end user.
• Managing and actioning exception messages to maintain schedule adherence.
• Define raw material scheduling requirements from engineering specifications and production schedules.
• Performing tasks for incorporating engineering change activities.
• Monitoring and reconciling any relevant Supply Chain disruptions that develop throughout the program lifecycle.
• Developing strategies, implementing plans, and tracking progress for cost savings initiatives.
• Creating and maintaining valid plans for material and capacity planning.
• Validating and converting planned orders to Production Orders or Purchase Requisitions.
• Ensuring converted orders are completed on schedule.
• Balancing supply and demand, performing initial hardware impact assessment, assigns, distributing and tracking tasks.
• Leading and managing projects assigned by leadership to accomplish organizational objectives.
