job_description.job_card.job_descriptionProcess and manage prior authorizations for medical procedures, medications, and referrals, ensuring timely completion and accuracy. Scan and organize medical records, documents, and other important files to maintain an efficient and organized system. Monitor and manage inboxes, including messages, medical assistant boxes, and laboratory results, promptly responding or forwarding them to the appropriate personnel. Assist in rooming patients, preparing them for examination, and documenting vital signs and medical history as required. Ensure efficient turnover of examination rooms by cleaning and restocking supplies after each patient visit. Maintain and manage inventory of medical and office supplies, ensuring appropriate levels are maintained and reordering as necessary. Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide excellent patient care, assist in procedures, and support the overall functioning of the clinic. Adhere to established protocols, policies, and procedures to maintain a safe and compliant healthcare environment. Keep up-to-date with medical terminology, coding, and insurance regulations to effectively communicate with patients, insurance providers, and healthcare professionals. High school is required. CNA, PCT, MA, or other related training and / or certification preferred Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities efficiently. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in handling administrative tasks. Proficient computer skills, including knowledge of electronic medical record systems and Microsoft Office Suite. Effective verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work well in a team-oriented healthcare environment. Prior experience in a healthcare setting or medical office is preferred. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Ability to push or pull heavy objects using up to 50 pounds of force Ability to sit for extended periods of time Ability to stand for extended periods of time Ability to use fine motor skills to operate office equipment and / or machinery Ability to receive and comprehend instructions verbally and / or in writing Ability to use logical reasoning for simple and complex problem solving

- Fully Sponsored Education : You will be enrolled in our Medical Assistant Certification Program at no cost to you. This includes all necessary books and your first credentialing exam. This program costs over $10,000 which is completely paid by Southeast Medical Group!
- On-the-Job Training : Electronic Medical Record Training in Allscripts / Veradigm. Performance of critical diagnosing equipment, i.e. EKG, Spirometry, etc.
- Career Advancement : Complete the mostly self-paced program in 4-6 months and automatically qualify for a promotion to Certified Medical Assistant I, with a corresponding pay increase.
- Continuous Growth : Progress further to Medical Assistant II and III levels through our career ladder.
