🩸 Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Hematology / Oncology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team in Longview, TX . This role will begin in our established oncology clinic, helping to build and grow our oncology service line ahead of the opening of our new, state-of-the-art Cancer Center in October 2026 .
🩺 Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive care for hematology and oncology patients in an outpatient clinic setting
- Manage follow-up visits, monitor treatment progress, and adjust care plans as appropriate
- Collaborate closely with oncologists, nursing staff, and other members of the multidisciplinary team
- Educate patients and families on diagnosis, treatment options, side effects, and ongoing care
- Maintain accurate documentation within the EMR and ensure continuity of care
- Support the growth and development of the oncology program as patient volume increases
Qualifications
Current Texas license as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician AssistantNational board certification (AANP, ANCC, or NCCPA)Oncology Certified (AOCN) through Oncology Nursing SocietyPrevious experience in hematology / oncology requiredStrong communication, clinical, and organizational skillsCommitment to building a long-term practice and serving the community🕒 Schedule & Compensation
