Our client is a global leader in providing multilingual localisation solutions, specialising in digital interactive entertainment. With hundreds of completed game localisation projects, we rely on excellent localisation experts worldwide to deliver culturally appropriate localised content, bringing joy to players globally.

Responsibilities

  • Translate in-game text, marketing materials, and documents from Chinese to English (target 3K to 4K Chinese characters / day).
  • Proofread and polish localized content, including dialogue, UI, item descriptions, and tutorials (target 6K to 8K Chinese characters / day).
  • Collaborate with the localization team to ensure content aligns with gameplay and narrative, identify cultural sensitivities, and utilize CAT tools for translation memory and glossary management.

    • Requirements

  • Language : Native English with advanced Chinese (HSK6) or native Chinese with advanced English (IELTS 8.5 / CEFR C2).
  • At least 3 years of game localization experience (Chinese to English) with proficiency in CAT tools.
  • Strong cultural awareness of English-speaking markets, attention to detail, self-motivated, and able to work remotely / asynchronously.
  • Passion for gaming and familiarity with gaming culture.
  • Preferred : Experience with leading Chinese game developers, interest in ACG, sci-fi / fantasy, history / mythology, background in linguistics or creative writing, and knowledge of localization workflows.
