POSITION SUMMARY :

The Toddler / Casa Aide supports the Lead Guide in preparing and maintaining a peaceful Montessori Toddler / Casa environment, attending to childrens physical needs and safety, and modeling positive interactions and communication with adults and children. This position works a full 8-hour day, including one hour in the Extended Day program. The Aide works under the direct supervision and direction of the Lead Guide at all times in accordance with Minnesota DHS Rule 3 requirements.

REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

Per DHS Rule 3 Aide Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• Must complete required DHS Rule 3 orientation before working directly with children.
• Must pass a DHS background study.
• No prior experience required; experience in early childhood or Montessori settings preferred.

The position also requires openness to direction and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team-oriented environment.
