Norton Creative is hiring : Senior Graphic Designer in Houston

Overview Norton is a full-service creative agency specializing in the restaurant and hospitality industry, working with a variety of local and national brands and we’re looking to add a SR GRAPHIC DESIGNER to our team. Our ideal new teammate has at least 5 years experience as a professional designer for consumer facing creative, preferably restaurant, and is creative, a quick learner, and has a good understanding of design principles with attention to detail.

Our services range from restaurant concept development to menu design to social media strategy and brand positioning. The diverse team at Norton gives us the ability to unwind a brand's potential. We feel strongly about long-term partnerships with our team and clients and believe that's where the best work is born.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES Design print & digital marketing materials for national and local food brands

Develop creative focused on client goals and objectives

Work collaboratively and embrace constructive feedback

Self-sufficient and able to independently develop processes

Think both strategically and creatively

Stay current with the global design community

Be honest and direct without exception

Create impeccable presentations and mockups

Demonstrate a commitment to innovating

Display a desire to learn and grow

Ability to follow established creative styles or create from scratch

Detail-oriented and self-motivated with a great attitude

Ability to receive creative direction and design critique openly

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED A design degree at accredited university in graphic design

5-7 years of relevant work experience

Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite

Agency experience preferred

Restaurant / food brand experience preferred

Strong communications skills

Exceptional attention to detail

Work very well in a team environment
