Description : Our client is currently seeking a highly organized and driven New Product Development (NPD) Project Manager to lead cross-functional teams in bringing FAA-PMA aviation components from concept to launch. This role is ideal for an engineering professional with strong project management skills and a deep understanding of FAA certification processes.

This Job Will Have The Following Responsibilities

Lead NPD projects from concept through certification, launch, and lifecycle support.

Coordinate across engineering, supply chain, quality, operations, and regulatory teams.

Guide FAA-PMA certification efforts including inspections, documentation, and DER / DAR coordination.

Develop and manage detailed project plans, budgets, timelines, and risk assessments.

Ensure cross-functional alignment and resolve project roadblocks.

Support design transfer to manufacturing and production readiness.

Oversee post-launch support, engineering changes, and end-of-life planning.

Report project status and forecasts to leadership.

Qualifications & Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or related field; PMP certification preferred.

3+ years of project management experience in aviation or aerospace.

Experience with FAA-PMA components and regulatory compliance.

Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Proficiency in project management tools (MS Project, Jira, Asana; ClickUp is a plus).

Familiarity with mechanical systems, materials, and product testing.

Experience with MRO or aftermarket aviation parts is a bonus.
