About The Position

Job Title : Registered Nurse

Hours per Shift : 12 hours (19 : 00 - 07 : 30)

Experience : 2 years in Labor and Delivery, Post Partum, OB Triage, Antepartum, Normal Newborn care

License : Compact license required

Certifications : AWHONN Intermediate, BCLS, NRP

Must-Have :

• Previous Charge Experience
• Ability to float as needed
• Experience with patient diagnoses : Labor and Delivery, Post Partum, OB Triage, Antepartum, Normal Newborn

Description :

Local travelers approved at travel rate.

All previous permanent employees must be separated from the health system for a minimum of 3 months to qualify for a travel position.

Float required as needed.

Special procedures include Vaginal Delivery, Cesarean Delivery, and Circulating in the OR.

Skills required include IV start and administration of blood and blood products.

Experience should include working with drains, epidural pumps, PCA pumps, insulin, and magnesium sulfate.

Certification in AWHONN Intermediate, BCLS, and NRP is required.

Skills also include circulating for C-sections, maintaining central lines, pain assessment and management, and triage of obstetrical patients.

The staffing ratio is 1 : 1-3.

Work includes labor and delivery, high-risk antepartum, and couplet care.

Candidates should have reliable transportation and be aware of local cost of living.

Compliance with all onboarding items is essential.

All sensitive onboarding items must be completed within 72 hours of offer acceptance.

Pre-start cancellations may result in disqualification from future roles.
