A Psychiatrist Position is needed in Melbourne, FL

Salary and Benefits

  • Salary Range : $250,000 - $275,000 annually
  • Relocation Allowance Offered

Responsibilities

  • Monday to Friday (8 : 00 am 4 : 00 pm or 9 : 00 am 5 : 00 pm) with possible on-call duties
  • Conduct psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and follow-up care for patients
  • Work in an inpatient setting with patient volume varying based on census
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement treatment plans
  • Provide consultation and second opinions as needed
  • Supervise and mentor psychiatric residents or students (if applicable)
  • Maintain accurate documentation in the EMR system (Credible)
  • Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and best practices within the organization

    • Requirements

  • Clear and active licensure as a Psychiatrist in the state of Florida
  • Board Certification in Psychiatry (or Board Eligibility)
  • Strong clinical and interpersonal skills
  • Experience in inpatient psychiatric settings is preferred
