Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A long-term care pharmacy in Fairfield, Ohio is seeking a Lead Pharmacist for a 13-week temp-to-perm assignment. This role is ideal for someone with experience in high-volume or compounding pharmacy who can thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Position Details :

Shift : 2nd shift, 4 : 00pm12 : 00am (alternative options : 12 : 00pm8 : 00pm or 2 : 00pm10 : 00pm)

Type : 13-week contract to hire

Responsibilities :

Oversee pharmacy technicians and / or data entry clerks to ensure accurate data entry, proper workflow, and pharmacy security.

Monitor technician ordering and prepacking processes.

Screen all new medication orders for correct dosing, allergies, drug interactions, and contraindications.

Assist with ordering, handling, receiving, documentation, and storage of controlled substances, including maintaining perpetual inventory for schedule II medications.

Requirements :

Clear and active Ohio Pharmacist License

Background in high-volume or compounding pharmacy preferred
