Reimbursement Specialist

A company is looking for a Reimbursement Specialist II to ensure healthcare providers are reimbursed for their services.

Key Responsibilities

Ensure timely collection of outstanding Accounts Receivable and resolve billing / claims issues

Research and interpret complex information related to appeals and payor-specific billing policies

Manage assigned accounts to maintain positive cash flow and escalate incorrect payments to payers

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

High School Diploma with 5+ years of healthcare experience or an Associate's Degree with 3+ years' experience

Extensive experience with appeals and payor-specific billing policies

In-depth understanding of healthcare billing and coding processes

Familiarity with medical and billing terminology

Computer and database management skills for managing electronic systems
