Employment Type : Travel Registered Nurse (RN)

Shift : 7 : 00 PM – 7 : 00 AM (8 Hour Nights)

Hours per Week : 40

Contract Duration : 13 weeks (Start : 11 / 3 / 2025 – End : 1 / 31 / 2026)

Guaranteed Hours : 40 per week

Estimated Weekly Pay : $2560 - $2750

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) License in New Jersey

Minimum 2 years of recent travel nursing experience in large hospital settings with high-risk pregnancies

ACLS Certification – Required

BLS Certification – Required

Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing

Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred

Labor & Delivery RN Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive patient assessments for labor, delivery, and postpartum care

Deliver safe, competent nursing care to labor & delivery and maternity patients

Demonstrate proficiency with emergency medical equipment and clinical procedures

Maintain accurate nursing documentation, including patient education and progress notes

Promote patient satisfaction by communicating professionally with patients, families, and healthcare team members

Adhere to National Patient Safety Goals and Universal Protocols, including patient identification

Individualize patient care based on procedures and anesthesia type

Collaborate with the perioperative team, prioritize patient care, and respond to changes in patient condition

Assess patient understanding of procedures; provide pre- and post-operative education

Support completion of patient testing and evaluate Pre Admission Testing (PAT) orders
