Description :

This position is for a travel RN specializing in Labor and Delivery.

The unit has 14 LDRPs and 2 ORs with a total of 60 staff members.

The night shift staffing includes 1 charge RN, 2-3 Labor and Delivery RNs, and 2-3 Postpartum RNs.

The patient ratios are compliant with AWHONN guidelines, with a maximum of 1 : 1 to 1 : 2 for Labor and Delivery and 3 : 1 for postpartum.

The unit utilizes Beacon EMR, CPN, and Meditech for patient care documentation.

The unit has a variety of experiences and equipment that contribute to an enriching environment.

Typical procedures performed in this unit include versions, C-sections, vaginal assisted deliveries, and D&Cs.
