The Regional Leader has complete responsibility for the results of the assigned collision repair facilities within a designated region. The Regional Leader will also manage DRP compliance and serve as the client liaison for performance and issue resolution. The MM is expected to be an energetic, enthusiastic team builder that presents a leadership example in all company activities.
Job Duties / Responsibilities :
- Responsible for meeting the regions annual business & sales plan objectives for operations, team development, business relationships and profitability.
- Educate & manage sales mix and margin management with expense control.
- Review location performance against goals with Collision Center Leaders, provide feedback and direction to ensure each location is performing to potential.
- Conduct monthly operating reviews with all Collision Center Leaders within the designated territory. Clearly communicate center goals and monitor performance to provide relevant feedback.
- Manage sales and key performance metrics at all locations by monitoring progress, educating teams, and implementing programs to support.
- Conduct audits and performance reviews within the region to ensure company processes, and regulatory compliance.
- Ensure customer satisfaction by managing the centers customer care standards and resolve customer concerns when requested or escalated.
- Manage overall DRP compliance and ensure key performance metrics are met and achieved each month. Hold training courses if needed and coach team members to reach goals and improve efficiency.
- Promote, develop, and function as a liaison for Dealer / Fleet accounts for performance, issue resolution and service agreement compliance, including relationship building and point of contact for the organization.
- Solicit, develop, and report on vendor relationships, must ensure vendors meet company criterion for quality, margin, and reliability.
- Recommend new products and techniques for the improvement of the repair and service process, soliciting ideas from team members, vendors, and customers. Stay on top of changing industry technology.
- Manage sales programs for center compliance and establish sales growth opportunity by capturing the business and upselling. Provide WIP management to determine load level opportunities within the Region for increasing sales and profitability for the overall company.
- Manage payroll submission for the market weekly, ensure accuracy and on time.
- Conduct and document annual performance reviews for all assigned Collision Center Leaders within the region.
- Ensure center team members are following standard operating procedures, and document positive and negative performance.
- Work to develop an energetic, enthusiastic work team that is proud to deliver a consistent repair service experience that exceeds customers requirements.
- Recruit, interview, and hire new team members for the region as required and engage in recurrent training to ensure team members are developed to potential.
- Promote safe, clean working conditions, review the safety record of the locations, solicit feedback, and set policy regarding safety issues and environmental compliance.
- Be an active part of solutions by monitoring the accuracy and efficiency of reports and materials supplied to the shops and any other intelligence essential to the overall success of the company.
- Assist in the strategic planning for the region by participating in the development of the annual business plan including budgets and strategic objectives.
Key Performance Metrics (must achieve) :
Meet or exceed sales and EBITDA profit plan per budget at all centers in assigned region.Maintain top level performance metric results overall for the region : EBITDA 15% or higher, Gross Profit 45% or higher, world-class Customer Service Index Scores, and Cycle Time efficiency.Maintain and Ensure Carrier Performance, including State Farm RPM at 700 or higher.Adhere to all OE Manufacturer guidelines for repair procedures, including pre and post scanning.Skills / Qualifications :
15 years business and / or leadership experience, including management of an autobody repair shop.Leadership skills for motivation of employees, resolving conflicts, and making smart / challenging decisions.Strong analytical skills for problem identification and objection resolutionAbility to create and manage business plans and adjust strategies based on reporting metrics.Ability to create ideas and strategies and execute to completion.Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.Experience in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and PowerPoint preferred.Actively manage time and schedule to adequately cover assigned territory in a time-efficient manner that meets the stated objective.This position requires up to 80% travel within the assigned region. Valid drivers license is necessary, with fuel reimbursement provided.Behavioral Excellence Required :
