  • NCCPA board certification or National Certification by a respective accredited professional nursing organization is required.

  • DEA license required (or eligible to obtain).

  • ACLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross is mandatory.

  • Previous cardiothoracic surgery or cardiac experience is a plus.

  • Ideal candidates should have some acute care experience

    • x000D x000D Your Responsibilities _x000D x000D_As a Physician Assistant Cardiothoracic , your responsibilities will include : _x000D x000D_ Patient Care : x000D x000D

  • Overseeing care for patients in the Cardiac Surgery ICU , handling a range of cases from CABG and valve replacement to ECMO, aortic dissections, and aneurysm repairs.

  • Performing bedside procedures within your scope of service.

    • x000D x000D Documentation and Collaboration : x000D x000D

  • Writing progress notes , participating in daily rounds, writing orders, dictating discharge notes, and contributing to hospital-wide quality improvement initiatives.

  • Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure continuity of care.

    • x000D x000D Work Schedule _x000D x000D_You'll work on a 7 on - 7 off shift schedule from 7 pm - 7 am, with 12-hour shifts.
