Extensive knowledge and familiarity with building construction, the ability to create, read and understand construction documents, plans, and specifications is critical. Possess excellent verbal, written communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency with PC office tools, such as : Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Adobe Acrobat. High degree of professionalism, diplomacy, integrity, and flexibility. High school diploma or equivalent and three to five years of relevant work experience or degree in a related field. Minimum 1-3 years of experience in an audio / visual Engineering role. Proficiency with AutoCAD and Revit. Advanced time management and analytical skills. Experience with continuous improvement process. Methodical and highly organized. Biamp Tesiraforte Certification Avixa CTS Certification QSC Q-Sys Certification Avixa CTS-I or D Extron AV / Control Crestron Certifications
We are seeking a detail-oriented and versatile Audio / Visual Design Engineer to join our team of talented AV professionals. As a Design Engineer you will work with our internal and external customers to develop simple and powerful solutions that exceed company and client expectations. You will be expected to become a SME in your area and consistently keep up with new trends and technologies in our industry. Our ideal candidate has a strong technical background, paired with exceptional people skills and can execute high-quality work on time.

Responsibilities include :
- Engineer solutions.
- Research new equipment.
- Serve as SME for "advanced technologies".
- Create schematics, elevations, and other deliverable plans.
- Work with contractors on job costing.
- Review proposed solutions with Project Managers and Field Teams.
- Serve as level two escalation point for technical assistance for field team.
- Working with Sales Engineering and Delivery team in support of deployment efforts.
- Provide detailed project delivery documentation.
